Things To Do

The best place to go really depends on the weather,the tides and your preferences, our staff is ready to answer any questions and direct you to adventures tailor made for you. There is also a self serve mini information centre at your disposal in the store. You can enjoy a coffee or espresso and decide what to do for the day.
Guests can enjoy the scenic beauty of the campground, relax in the hot tub or sauna. Soccer balls, frisbees and other sporting goods can be borrowed from the office. There is an 8km community bike path that begins across the street from the campground and goes directly to Ucluelet connecting with several hiking trails on the way.

Beginning May 15th, Tofino Bus will operate a bus between the Ucluelet and Tofino with stops all along the way, including the campground and Long Beach.

Ucluelet is just a 5 minute drive where there is something for everybody: hiking, surfing, kayaking, whale and bear watching, fishing, live music, dances, beaches, shipwrecks, great restaurants and a full array of stores and shops.

Kennedy Lake, the largest lake on Vancouver Island, is also a 5 minute drive from the campground. Kennedy Lake has wonderful, warm sandy beaches, safe for the whole family.



From the campground, you can drive 30 minutes through scenic Pacific Rim National Park to the town of Tofino. A full service town for tourists, you can find many excellent restaurants, gift shops and stores.
